Lace Up Those Running Shoes for the Annual Jingle Bell Run-A-Thon!

Thursday, December 4th

The Annual Jingle Bell Run-A-Thon, sponsored by DeGolyer’s PTA in partnership with The DeGolyer Dad’s Club, will be held after school at DeGolyer Elementary on Thursday, December 4th. This event raises money for the North Texas Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids program, and every $5 raised pays for a weekend backpack of food for a child who might not have any food when away from school.

When: Thursday, December 4th from 3:00 – 4:15 pm

Where: Next to the DeGolyer outdoor basketball courts

How to Raise Money:

• Ask friends, family, and neighbors to sponsor your run with donations for the

  North Texas Food Bank Food 4 Kids program. They can donate any amount.

• Both cash and checks can be accepted. Make checks payable to The DeGolyer

  Dad’s Club.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to students who run the most laps by age group!

Important Deadlines:

• Tuesday, December 2nd

  FOR YOUR CHILD TO PARTICIPATE, THEY MUST RETURN A SIGNED PERMISSION

  SLIP TO THEIR HOMEROOM TEACHER NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2nd

• Thursday, December 4th
  Child turns in their donation form and an envelope containing all donations to their homeroom teacher by Thursday, December 4th
